## Rule excerpts
Majority opinion: ICWA inquiry remand after guardianship, with parental rights intact; distinguishing In re Dezi C. (2024) 16 Cal.5th 1112.
> As to whether a reversal of the guardianship order, in addition to a reversal of the order terminating jurisdiction, is mandated under Dezi C., supra, 16 Cal.5th 1112, we agree with the Department that it is not. Under the terms of the guardianship order, father’s parental rights have not been terminated and the guardianship remains within the juvenile court’s jurisdiction, even after the termination of dependency jurisdiction.
